World Cup star Ferran Torres to go from Barcelona to PSG

Spanish footballer Ferran Torres emerged as a World Cup hero after his goal in the final against Argentina cruised Spain towards victory.

Now, the athlete is reported to move onto his new home, Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG have reached an agreement in principle to sign the Barcelona forward in a deal worth around €50 million.

The 26-year-old was given permission to miss training this week as he worked to finalize his move to the French champions.

Apart from his performance for the national team, he also enjoyed a good season with FCB scoring 21 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions and providing three assists as the club claimed the La Liga title.

Ferran joined Barcelona in 2022 after spending two seasons at Manchester City.

His move to Paris would reunite him with former Barcelona player and manager Luis Enrique, who currently manages PSG.

The French club added another trophy to their collection on Wednesday when they defeated Aston Villa 2-1 to win the UEFA Super Cup.

The footballer’s departure would mark the end of his four-year spell at Barcelona.
