Reports suggest that the 2026 Maruti Baleno facelift could launch in the first week of September 2026. The Baleno has long been a favorite premium hatchback in the Indian market, maintaining strong sales despite competition from cars like the Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz.

With competition in this segment intensifying, Maruti Suzuki does not want to simply leave the existing model with minor tweaks; The new Baleno is expected to feature significant updates regarding design, features, and fuel efficiency. The facelifted version is arriving soon and may incorporate the company's new, cost-effective hybrid technology.

Design Changes

The new Baleno will not be launched as an entirely new generation; instead, the company is likely to introduce a major facelift based on the current model.
