JP Nadda Hospitalised: Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda has been admitted to AIIMS, Delhi after complaining of uneasiness. He underwent several tests in the hospital, including coronary angiography. At present his condition is said to be stable and he has been kept under observation in the cardiology department.

An official statement has been issued by Delhi AIIMS regarding the health condition of JP Nadda. This statement was also shared on the official X account of AIIMS New Delhi.

In a statement issued by the hospital, it was said that the uneasiness of Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda was investigated on the evening of August 13, 2026. During this period many tests including coronary angiography were done. According to AIIMS, JP Nadda’s condition is currently stable and he has been admitted to the cardiology department for observation.

What is coronary angiography?

Coronary angiography is a medical imaging procedure used to examine the coronary arteries of the heart. These blood vessels deliver oxygenated blood to the heart.

During this procedure, the doctor inserts a thin and flexible tube called a catheter into the blood vessel. It is usually delivered to the heart through the wrist or waist. After this, special contrast dye is injected into the coronary arteries and with the help of X-ray images any kind of narrowing or blockage is checked.

Tricolor was hoisted at home on 13th August

Health Minister JP Nadda had hoisted the tricolor with his family at his residence on August 13. While sharing its picture on Twitter, he had appealed to the people to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.

He had written that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being celebrated as a festival across the country, he also shared the information about hoisting the national flag at his residence.
