Chirag Paswan spoke on prohibition law

While talking to the media, Chirag Paswan expressed his views regarding the liquor ban law implemented in Bihar. He said, “First of all, we have to honestly admit that the idea with which the prohibition law was brought…we had strongly supported it, but it has still not been implemented. Every now and then we get information about poisonous liquor, every now and then we get information about how liquor is being brought into the state from the border areas.”

The Union Minister said, “It is a matter of explaining to the people why this type of law is needed… Have we reached there completely? I do not think that we have been successful in our thinking yet… Necessary steps will be taken in the coming days to fulfill this thinking. I believe that in the coming days, the government will sit with all the constituent parties and discuss it and whatever changes are needed will definitely be implemented.”

You should know that whether you were able to fulfill the thought with which you made the law? Were we successful in the awareness campaign with which you were trying to take it from village to village? If successful, to what extent? If it didn’t happen then why didn’t it happen? If not, what changes need to be made? This will happen only when there is a true review.
