PM Modi hoisted the tricolor on the Red Fort, Vande Mataram echoed in a national program for the first time

India is celebrating its 80th Independence Day today. This year the celebration of independence is more special because this time 150 years of the national song Vande Mataram have been completed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading this national celebration from the Red Fort in Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached the Red Fort and within some time he will hoist the flag on the ramparts of the Red Fort, along with which a 21-gun salute will be given by the 1721 Field Battery.
Before this, the Prime Minister reached Rajghat and bowed to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and remembered the freedom fighters of the country.
