Yash’s most awaited film Toxic is going to be released on the big screen soon. To promote this film, Yash reached ‘India TV’ show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’. During this, Yash was asked that you were a big fan of Shahrukh Khan. When he refused to meet you, you clashed the release of KGF 2 with his film Zero.
In response to this, Yash first started smiling and then said that he is still a big fan of Shahrukh. Our film was small and Shahrukh sir’s film was big so we released it. When he was asked a counter question on this, Yash said that he is a superstar and the day I consider myself bigger than him, my shop will be closed.
Yash’s humility won the hearts of fans. One commented, “His humility is a befitting reply to Bollywood’s PR.” Another wrote, “He is a real superstar.” Another wrote, “The real king.” Another commented: “He is so polite.
Even during the trailer launch of KGF: Chapter 1, Yash had said that the clash with ‘Zero’ was not “intentional”. He said that I am confident that there is full scope, one film cannot capture the entire country. There will definitely be two or three films.
Especially for us, since our film is in five languages, we wanted a release date that was suitable for all five languages. This is not intentional, but when you have to release a film in five languages, you want a release date that is convenient for all the distributors.
Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif starrer film ‘Zero’ flopped at the box office, while Yash’s film ‘KGF: Chapter 1’ created a huge stir. This film remained the highest grossing film of Kannada till the release of its next part. The film also won two National Awards for Best Action Direction and Best Special Effects at the 66th National Film Awards.
Talking about Yash’s work front, Yash is eagerly waiting for the release of his upcoming film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups’. Yash is playing the role of Rocky in this film directed by Geetu Mohandas and he is also accompanied by Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasant. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters in August 2026. It remains to be seen how much the audience likes this film.
