Maharashtra Weather : Monsoon, which has been raging for the past few days, has once again made a vigorous comeback in Maharashtra. A low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal has created a favorable environment for rains in the state, and the next 5 days are going to be very important for as many as 27 districts of Maharashtra. The Indian Meteorological Department has warned of heavy to very heavy rain in these districts and has issued an alert in some areas.

Heavy rain again in Mumbai and Konkan coast

For the past few days, Mumbai and Mumbai suburbs have been witnessing a slow pace of rain. However, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, Mumbai, Thane and Palghar districts will experience significant rainfall in the next few days. Coastal districts of Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg in Konkan are likely to receive heavy rain accompanied by thundershowers. The administration has appealed to the tourists and fishermen going to the beach to take special care during this period. Maharashtra Weather

Vidarbha is also seeing a big change in the weather. A ‘yellow alert’ has been issued in most parts of Vidarbha including the districts of Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Gondia and Bhandara with the possibility of heavy rain accompanied by gale force winds. On the other hand, heavy rainfall is predicted over Pune, Satara, Nashik and Kolhapur ghats in Madhya Maharashtra. Citizens have been asked to be alert on ghat roads and crack-prone areas. Relief to farmers, warning to citizens

At this stage of August, Baliraja in the state has become comfortable due to reactivation of monsoon. Stalled agricultural works and crops will get a big boost due to this rain. However, on the other hand, the local administration has given instructions to the citizens living in the low-lying areas to be alert. The disaster management department has appealed that the weather will continue to change continuously for the next 5 days, so plan your journey only by predicting the weather while going out. In the wake of this warning issued by the Meteorological Department, citizens are urged to follow the information coming from official sources only and not believe any rumours. Avoid going to dam areas, river banks and tourist spots in particular. Local disaster management teams have been kept ready to deal with sudden floods, and citizens should contact the local administration immediately in case of emergency. Although these changes in weather will bring down the temperature and create dew in the air, it is equally important to take care of health. Maharashtra Weather
