Independence Day 2026 Celebration Uttarakhand: On the auspicious occasion of 80th Independence Day, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami hoisted the grand flag at the Chief Minister's residence in Dehradun. Just before this sacred program of flag hoisting, the Chief Minister and all the senior officers and employees present there sang 'Vande Mataram' in unison. After this, the Chief Minister hoisted the national flag and administered the oath of integrity and national unity to all the officers and employees present.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the people of the state on the 80th Independence Day. He paid tribute to the immortal freedom fighters who sacrificed everything for the freedom of the country. Also, he remembered the brave soldiers of the country who made the supreme sacrifice while protecting the borders of Mother India and paid humble tribute to them.

In his address, the Chief Minister said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire country is moving forward very fast in the direction of realizing the strong, prosperous and completely self-reliant India that our immortal martyrs had dreamed of on the ground.

He said that to fulfill Prime Minister Modi's resolution of 'Developed India 2047', every citizen of the country will have to contribute with full devotion, honesty and dedication in their respective fields. Unless there is collective effort and public participation, the country cannot be taken to new heights of development.

Government committed to make Uttarakhand the best state of the country

Drawing a blueprint for the development of Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister said that the state government is working with full commitment and sincerity for the overall, balanced and sustainable development of the state. It is the continuous effort of the government that the direct benefits of development plans and policies reach every area of ​​Uttarakhand and the last person of the society.

He further said that on the basis of cooperation and participation of all the people of the state in the progress of the state, continuous work is being done towards making Uttarakhand the best and leading state of the country.
