New Delhi, 15 August 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made several big advertisements from the ramparts of the Red Fort, calling the youth of the country the biggest strength for building a developed India. PM Modi said that the government has created endless opportunities for the youth in the fields of education, Artificial Intelligence (AI), startup, skill development and sports. A resolution has been expressed to provide AI skills to 1 crore people in the next one year and to create a huge network of free online coaching.
Talking about the financial burden on every family amidst the competition of increasingly expensive coaching classes in the country, PM Modi said, “We have to change this mentality. A wide network of free online coaching is being created for students so that no child is left behind due to lack of resources.” Along with this, so that India remains ahead in the world of technology, it has been announced to provide AI (Artificial Intelligence) skill training to 1 crore youth in the next one year, so that Indian youth are not only participants in AI but also lead it.
Referring to the new National Education Policy, the Prime Minister said that more than 650 new universities have been added in the country in the last 10 years. Before 2014, there were only 400 medical seats in the country, today they have increased to more than 850. Apart from this, foreign universities are also coming to India, due to which our youth are getting excellent opportunities for higher education in the country.
New strength to youth through startups, cheap data and skill development
Praising the 'Startup India' and 'Skill India' campaigns, PM Modi inspired the youth, “You come forward with dreams, the government should not let you fall short of resources.” The cheap data available in the country has given new strength to the youth to move forward in the digital age.
Talking about sports, PM Modi said that India is a strong contender for hosting the 2036 Olympics and 2030 Commonwealth Games. Accepting the fact that India cannot even qualify in many of the 40 sports and 350 competitions of the Olympics, he challenged that we have to change this situation.
For this, 'talent hunt' will be conducted in villages and schools for children in the age group of 5 to 15 years, so that raw sports talents can be found even from the interior areas of the country and they can be given world class training. PM Modi made it clear that youth are the biggest seekers and biggest beneficiaries of the country's development, hence the main goal of the government is to give top priority to the youth.
