There is now more clarity on Pawan Kalyan’s “OG 2” and his upcoming film plans. Following his shoulder surgery at a Mumbai hospital last month, Pawan Kalyan has returned to his responsibilities as Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and is currently focused on his political duties. Doctors have advised him to avoid straining his shoulders, which means he is unlikely to resume film shootings this year.

Although the sequel to “OG” was announced earlier this year, there was speculation that “OG 2” would go on floors soon. However, the film is now expected to begin shooting only in 2027.

Director Sujeeth is currently preparing for his next project, Bloody Romeo, starring Nani. The film is expected to begin shooting in October and continue until March 2027. Sujeeth will then return to “OG 2.”

The makers are also planning a special update on Pawan Kalyan’s birthday on September 2. A glimpse of “OG 2” is expected to be unveiled on the occasion, with Thaman already working on the film’s music.

Sources close to Sujeeth have informed Telugucinema.com that the director has already begun pre-production work on Bloody Romeo. More details about OG 2, including its shooting plans, are expected to emerge with the September 2 update.
