Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 launched with retro look and powerful engine, know the price and what special features you will get

Royal Enfield has launched the updated version of Continental GT 650 in India. Minor changes have been made in the styling and features, while the main mechanical package of the motorcycle remains the same. Its price ranges between ₹3.58 lakh to ₹3.88 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the color and specifications.

Color options of the updated Continental GT 650
The updated Continental GT 650 is available in four colours. The Rocker Red variant – which now has a blacked-out engine, exhaust and cast-alloy wheels – is priced at ₹3.58 lakh. The British Racing Green variant, which has a polished engine and spoke wheels, is also priced at the same price. The Apex Gray variant with black engine and cast-alloy wheels is priced at ₹3.81 lakh, while the Mr Clean variant with polished engine and spoke wheels is the most expensive, priced at ₹3.88 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.

The Continental GT 650 now has a black instrument cluster housing and new LED indicators. It also adds a USB Type-C fast-charging port, making it easier for riders to charge smartphones and other devices. The Rocker Red variant now gets a black engine, exhaust and cast-alloy wheels – specifications that were previously available only in Apex Grey. Following these changes, the British Racing Green and Mr. Clean variants are the only ones to retain the spoked wheels and polished engine finish.

Updated Continental GT 650 engine
These updates mainly focus on the looks of the bike; No major changes have been made in its design or riding dynamics. The Continental GT 650 has the same engine as before. It has a 648cc air- and oil-cooled twin-cylinder engine that produces 47hp power and 52.3Nm torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox which transmits power to the rear wheel.
