Aadhaar Card Mobile Number Update: In today's time, Aadhar card is one of the most important documents. Aadhaar is used in banking, government schemes, SIM cards, online services and many other important purposes. Your mobile number is also linked with your biometric and demographic information in Aadhaar.

If for some reason you want to change the mobile number linked to Aadhaar, now this work can be done through the new mobile app of Aadhaar. Let us know the complete method.

Step 1: Download Aadhaar App-
First of all download and install the new Aadhaar app in your mobile phone. After this, open the app and login with the help of your Aadhaar number.

Step 2: Select Mobile Number Update option-
Complete the Face Authentication process for login. After this go to the Services option given in the app.

Here you will see the option of Mobile Number Update. Click on it.

Step 3: Enter new mobile number-
Now click on Continue to Update Mobile Number. After this enter the new mobile number which you want to link with your Aadhaar.

After entering the number, OTP will come on the new mobile number. Proceed by entering the OTP in the app.

Step 4: Face Authentication and deposit fees-
After this you will have to complete Face Authentication. This will be done to verify your identity.

After completion of verification, online fee of Rs 75 will have to be deposited. Submit the application after payment of fees.

In how many days will the mobile number be updated?
After the completion of the application and verification process, the new mobile number can be updated in Aadhaar within about 15 days.
