Marvel Studios reveals new X-Men cast

Marvel Studios has revealed the first cast of its upcoming X-Men film at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. With this announcement, a new journey of mutants has begun in the MCU, in which many young and experienced actors will play important roles.

New X-Men team introduced at D23 event

During the D23 event in Anaheim, California, director Jake Schreyer introduced the new X-Men team. She was also joined by Sadie Sink, who will play Jean Grey. Subsequently, the names of other cast members were announced. Kit Connor was cast as Scott Summers as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier and Samara Weaving as Emma Frost. This announcement has made it clear that the X-Men are now going to be an important part of the MCU.

Rogue, Storm and Mr. Sinister also announced

In the new team, Inde Navarrete has been given the role of Rog and Maya Boyd has been given the role of Storm. The biggest surprise came when Adam Driver attended the event via video call and he was confirmed to play Mister Sinister. This villain is considered one of the most powerful and cunning foes in X-Men stories. Marvel believes that with these new artists the franchise will get a fresh perspective and the story will deepen.

New beginning of mutants in MCU

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said that this is only the first cast and that many more important characters are to be announced in the coming months.
