Agra: An incident came to light from Agra in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, which shocked everyone. It is alleged that a father threw his only 11 month old daughter into the Yamuna river. The most painful thing was that her innocent daughter was thrown into the river in front of the mother's eyes. When the wife tried to stop her husband, she was also beaten up. The matter is said to be of Yamuna river bridge near Akbara village of Sikandra police station area.

According to the police, Rinku had gone to the market on a bike with his wife Lakshmi and 11-month-old daughter. On the way, there was a dispute between the husband and wife over some issue. After this Rinku stopped the bike at Yamuna bridge. It is being told that when the wife asked the reason for stopping at the bridge, Rinku said that he wanted to take a photo with his daughter. After this he took the girl from the mother's lap. Caressed her for some time and also took a selfie with her. It is alleged that soon after this he threw the girl from the bridge into the Yamuna river.

When the wife stopped him, he was also beaten.

Seeing her daughter falling into the river, Lakshmi started screaming. She opposed her husband and tried to save the girl. It is alleged that this enraged Rinku and he started beating his wife. Not only this, he also tried to throw the woman off the bridge. Hearing the woman's scream, people passing by stopped at the spot and intervened. Passersby somehow saved the woman from the accused and caught Rinku. After this people handed over the accused to the police.

Search for the girl continues with the help of divers

On receiving information about the incident, Sikandra police station reached the spot and took the accused into custody. During interrogation, he has been identified as Rinku son of Leeladhar, resident of Badamgarhi village, Police Station Baldev, Mathura. According to the police, initial investigation has revealed that the accused took this step out of anger after a dispute between the husband and wife. To search for the girl, the police started an operation in Yamuna with the help of divers and PAC. Despite a long search, the innocent could not be found till the time of writing this news. At the same time, the mother is crying badly after her daughter fell into the river. The police is investigating the entire matter along with interrogating the accused.
