FDA Notices To Shah Rukh Khan-Ajay Devgan And Tiger Shroff: Major action has been taken against Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgan and Tiger Shroff. Show cause notice has been sent to Shahrukh Khan-Ajay Devgan and Tiger Shroff. Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration i.e. FDA has sent notice to all three Bollywood actors for Vimal Elaichi Advertisement. FDA has considered the advertisement of Vimal Cardamom as promotion of Pan Masala.

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) believes that this advertisement is a surrogate promotion of 'Vimal Pan Masala' banned in the state. Under the sections of the FSS Act, these stars are now facing a penalty of up to Rs 10 lakh.

Actually Maharashtra FDA is in action mode against the sale of tobacco and pan masala in the state. In this series, now Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan and Tiger Shroff have also come under the scanner of FDA. FDA says that the name 'Vimal', product and dialogue have been used in the advertisement in such a way that it appears to be promoting the 'Vimal' brand. Since the brand 'Vimal' is also associated with pan masala, the FDA suspects that the banned pan masala is being indirectly promoted through the advertisement.

All three will have to reply within 15 days

The FDA sent notices to all three on August 11, seeking their response and clarification within 15 days on their role in the advertisement. Notice has been sent to Shahrukh Khan at his Bandra residence 'Mannat', Ajay Devgan at his Juhu residence and Tiger Shroff at his production company 'Tiger Shroff Productions LLP'.

Ban on manufacturing, storage, supply and sale of pan masala in Maharashtra

According to the FDA notice, preliminary investigation of the advertisement shows that it promotes the brand 'Vimal', which is primarily associated with pan masala. Let us inform that Maharashtra Food Safety Commissioner, through his order dated July 13, 2026, has banned the manufacture, storage, supply and sale of pan masala in the state for one year under Section 30(2)(a) of the FSS Act 2006.
