Skoda Auto has given a big relief to the fans of its flagship sedan car. The company's new fourth generation Skoda Superb is all set to launch in India with a diesel engine. The car is likely to enter the Indian showrooms in the first half of 2027 and it will give a strong competition to the Toyota Camry.
Engine and powerful performance
Skoda stopped selling diesel cars in India in April 2020, but the company is resuming the service with the new Superb. It will be powered by a powerful 2.0-litre diesel engine, which generates 190 hp of power and 400 Nm of torque. This engine will be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. This system can transfer 100% of the torque to the rear axle as needed.
