What if KYC is not completed by 16th August?
Indian Oil has clearly informed its customers that if they do not complete the process by August 16, they will not get LPG cylinders. The company has urged customers to complete their e-KYC on time. This does not mean that their connection will be cancelled; They will not be able to book or get only LPG cylinders. Once the verification is completed, customers can get LPG cylinders again.
E-KYC process from home
To complete the e-KYC process, customers should download the official app of Inden, HP or Bharat Gas. In the app, a face scan can initiate the process. Remember to check the status after the process is complete.
E-KYC by offline method
Customers can complete the e-KYC process by visiting their gas agency. Biometrics will be used here. Please note that you must register your mobile number which you always have with you, as this will complete the booking process.

The government has made significant changes in the LPG cylinder booking rules. Now LPG cylinders will not be distributed without OTP. Gas cylinders will be booked using registered mobile number only. Bookings for LPG cylinders will be accepted after 45 days in rural areas and after 25 days in urban areas.
