Global Politics: The Mecca Joint Defense Agreement between Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan has increased strategic activity from West Asia to South Asia. According to the agreement, in case of an attack on any one of the three countries, it will be considered an attack on all. In such a situation, this new security equation is being considered important for India also, especially because of the presence of Pakistan in it.

The biggest question after this agreement is that if military tension between India and Pakistan increases in future, will Saudi Arabia and Turkey directly stand in support of Pakistan? Experts believe that the answer is not so simple. Cooperation between the three countries has certainly increased, but they also have their own economic, political and regional interests. Saudi Arabia's stance is especially important for India. There are strong relations between the two countries to trade, energy and investment. In such a situation, in case of any India-Pakistan conflict, it may be more important for Riyadh to maintain balance between the two countries than supporting Pakistan. However, Pakistan can definitely present this agreement as its strategic strength.

Defense cooperation between Türkiye and Pakistan has steadily strengthened over the years. Türkiye's military technology and its growing defense ties with Pakistan give additional importance to this new alliance. At the same time, Saudi Arabia's economic capacity and Pakistan's military strength give a different dimension to this partnership.

According to experts, the purpose of this agreement may not only be to help each other in case of war, but also to create an alternative framework for regional security. Regional tensions involving Iran, Israel and the US have also provided an opportunity for the three countries to come closer.

The biggest challenge before India at present is to monitor this alliance and strengthen its diplomatic strategy. India is already strengthening ties with the Gulf countries, the US, Israel and other strategic partners. In such a situation, the Mecca Agreement is being seen as a new strategic challenge for India rather than an immediate military threat.
