Indian actor Yash has opened up about his wife Radhika Pandit’s reaction to his intimate scenes with actress Kiara Advani in the upcoming action thriller Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.

During an appearance on Rajat Sharma’s popular talk show Aap Ki Adalat, Yash acknowledged that the scenes could make his wife uncomfortable. However, the actor said both he and Radhika understand that such moments are part of an actor’s professional responsibilities when they serve the story.

Yash, whose real name is Naveen Kumar, explained that he also had to move beyond his own comfort zone while working on the film. According to him, certain scenes may not be easy for actors personally, but they can become necessary when they are important to the character and the overall narrative.

The K.G.F. star said he believes every partner could naturally feel uncomfortable seeing their spouse perform intimate scenes with another actor. However, he stressed that acting requires performers to separate their personal relationships from the characters they portray on screen.

Yash also pointed out that Radhika is an actress herself and therefore understands the demands and challenges of the profession. He said she may not necessarily be pleased with the scenes, but she trusts him and understands that he is performing as an actor rather than appearing as her husband in those moments.

The actor further revealed that Toxic has been designed with younger audiences, particularly Gen Z, in mind. He suggested that the film explores generational differences and issues relevant to young people while presenting them through an action-driven story.

Yash and Radhika’s relationship dates back to their time working together on the television show Nanda Gokula in 2007. Their professional association eventually developed into a personal relationship. They became engaged in 2016 and married later that year. The couple have two children, daughter Ayra and son Yatharv.

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups features Yash in a dual role, portraying both a father and his son. Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi are also part of the cast.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the highly anticipated pan-India action thriller is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026.
