Patna. The government has prepared a big plan to strengthen air connectivity in Bihar. Plans have been made to develop six new airports in the state. With this, people of many districts are expected to get better air facilities for commuting.
These areas can benefit
Many areas including Muzaffarpur, Saharsa, Begusarai, Veerpur, Raxaul and Bhagalpur have been mentioned for the proposed airport. After the development of the airport, air connectivity from these areas to other big cities can become easy. This is also expected to boost trade, tourism and employment. Especially businessmen and students can get the benefit of saving time in long distance travel.
The facility will also be useful in case of emergency
The government's plan is not limited to regular air services only. Emphasis is also being laid on developing a permanent arrangement for landing helicopters in emergency situations. With this, relief and rescue work can be done quickly in situations like accidents, health emergencies or natural disasters.
New airport will give new impetus to development
The construction of new airports is expected to accelerate the development of infrastructure in the respective districts. Better air connectivity can help attract investment, boost tourism and give local businesses access to new markets.
Currently this scheme is in the development and preparation stage. Final details regarding the location, construction and flights of the airport will be clear after the relevant government approvals and further process.
