Manchester United are currently working on a number of loan deals for their young players.

Sekou Kone caught the eye on Friday by scoring an excellent goal for Lausanne-Sport.

United still have plenty left to sort out in terms of further temporary moves, but one player whose situation had already been settled some time ago is Andre Onana.

Onana spent the whole of last season playing for Trabzonspor in Turkey.

Following Senne Lammens’ impressive first season, he has now been handed the number one shirt on a permanent basis.

In addition, the arrival of Karl Darlow has made it clear that there is no future for Onana at the club.

As a consequence, Onana agreed another loan move to remain in the Turkish Super Lig and began his season against Kasimpasa.

After 20 minutes, the Cameroon international was forced into action when he got down well to keep out an opposition effort.

In the second half, he was called upon again and managed to turn a deep cross over the bar.

He had little chance with the equaliser after Kasimpasa were given a penalty, which was converted without any trouble.

Onana made three saves in the match, with two of them coming from shots inside the box.

The African goalkeeper also made one high claim during the game and completed 61% of his passes to teammates.

Onana also won 100% of his duels and carried the ball forward on four occasions as he tried to help set his side up for a winning goal that never arrived.

The Manchester United goalkeeper’s next outing will be against Ferencvarosi TC in the Europa League play-offs on Thursday evening.
