New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled the statue of Atal Bihar Vajpayee at Nimbahera, Rajasthan on his death anniversary. Also, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development works of Rajasthan Government. During this, he said, for hundreds of years, the brave land of Rajasthan has been the Kashi of bravery for the patriots across the country. This land gave the message to the Mughals that no one can bend us.

The Home Minister said, today is the death anniversary of Atal ji, in his memory, BJP workers have done the work of building his statue and a grand memorial on this holy land in Chittorgarh (Rajasthan). Thanks to every worker associated with the work of this grand statue made in accordance with the personality of Atal ji.

He said, after 80 years of independence, 'Vande Mataram' was sung for the first time on the ramparts of the Red Fort and wherever the flag was hoisted across the country. In the greed of vote bank, Congress had forgotten Vande Mataram. In the 150th year of 'Vande Mataram', Modi ji has given a new life to 'Vande Mataram' from the ramparts of the Red Fort.

The Home Minister said, Vande Mataram was being sung at the Congress Party headquarters. Sonia ji asked the Congress President to stop Vande Mataram midway. When this immortal song of Bankim Babu is getting respect again after 80 years, that too Sonia ji did not like. Sonia ji, the public is watching you and the public will never forgive you for this sin committed by you. If Congressmen have any shame left, they should apologize to the immortal soul of Bankim Babu.

Atal ji never compromised on principles
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, Atal ji walked on the path of patriotism since childhood. He became a preacher of RSS, a worker of Jan Sangh and became MP from Balrampur at the age of just 33. He remained in the opposition for almost 40 years, from 1957 to 1996, but his views always remained nation first. He went to jail, faced lathicharge and endured atrocities from the Congress, but never compromised on his principles:
