Inter have officially completed the signing of Djed Spence from Tottenham in a deal worth €35m including add-ons, with the defender putting pen to paper on a contract that runs until June 2031.
He is the second England international to move to the Nerazzurri this summer, following fellow 2026 World Cup star John Stones, who joined on a free transfer after leaving Manchester City.
Spence arrived in Milan late on Thursday night and underwent his full medical examinations on Friday, both with the club and with CONI, the Italian Olympic Committee.
With no problems emerging from those checks, the agreement was finalised through to June 2031 and is understood to be worth €2.5m per season, plus bonuses linked to performances.
Tottenham will receive around €31.5m upfront, with a further €3.5m available in add-ons, as well as a 10 per cent share of any future transfer fee.
For Spence, this marks a return to Serie A, having already spent six months on loan at Genoa in 2024.
Capable of operating on either the right or left flank, he celebrated his 26th birthday only last week.
Inter view him as the ideal successor to Denzel Dumfries on the right side after the Dutchman completed his move to Real Madrid.
