New Delhi. A paramilitary force personnel had a scuffle with the passengers inside a coach of Delhi Metro. Police sources said on Sunday that the dispute started when a woman accused the jawan of taking photographs of her. A video of this incident, which took place around 1 pm, has surfaced on the internet. He said that in the video the woman can be seen protesting against the officer over the issue inside the metro coach.
A senior official of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) said that the officer concerned has been suspended till the completion of the investigation. According to sources, the officer denied the allegation of taking photographs of the woman, but some other passengers also joined the dispute after photographs of the woman were found during investigation of his mobile phone.
Sources said that the passengers asked the jawan to remove the photographs. The dispute escalated when the officer tried to step out of the coach and was stopped by some passengers, following which a scuffle broke out between them. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the altercation. Sources said that no complaint has been filed yet by anyone in this matter.
