Awarapan 2 vs Batwara 1947 Box Office Collection Day 3: Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi's film 'Bantwara 1947' and Sunny Deol's 'Awarapan 2' are making waves in theaters these days. On one hand, there is 'Bantwara 1947', which is finding it difficult to earn money, while on the other hand, it is raining money on the film 'Awarapan 2'. So let us know, how much collection has been made by which film on the first Sunday.

'Partition 1947' third day earnings

Sunny Deol's 'Bantwara 1947' was the much awaited film of the year. This film clashed with Emraan Hashmi's 'Awarapan 2' at the box office, due to which its start was slow. At the same time, the makers thought that it would do something amazing on the weekend, but this film seemed to earn very little. 'Partition 1947' had opened with Rs 5.75 crores. Then on the second day it showed a tremendous jump and earned Rs 13.50 crore. But again its earnings fell on Sunday. According to the report of Saknilk, it has earned Rs 7.50 crore on the third day of release (Batwara 1947 Box Office Collection Day 3). After which the net earning has now become Rs 26.75 crore.

'Awarapan 2' bumper note being printed

On the other hand, if we talk about 'Awarapan 2', this film has been printing huge notes since the opening day and it has created a stir on the weekend. The film opened with a collection of Rs 22 crores. Then on the second day, a huge jump was seen in its earnings and it earned Rs 33.75 crores. Now according to the report of Sacknilk, 'Awarapan 2' has earned Rs 26.5 crore on the third day of its release i.e. Sunday (Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection Day 3). Partition is not going on in front of Awarapan 2

Let us tell you, both these films were released on August 14, but the film 'Awarapan 2' had a strong opening and 'Bantwara 1947' went far ahead. The biggest reason for this is the vagrancy that occurred in the year 2007. When 'Awarapan' was released, it proved to be a flop at the box office. But later when people saw this film and heard the songs, it became a cult classic. This is the reason why its sequel was made on the demand of fans and audiences are coming to theaters to watch it.

Imran's film made a record

At the same time, now Awarapan 2 has earned Rs 82 crore in three days and with this it has joined the top 5 opening weekend films of the year. At first number is Dhurandhar 2- 466 crores, Border 2- 129.89 crores, Awarapan 2- 82 crores, Dhamaal 4- 67.21 crores and then Akshay Kumar's Welcome to the Jungle- 65.83 crores. At the same time, 'Awarapan 2' has also become the eighth highest grossing film of the year. It has also overtaken the lifetime collection of Imtiaz Ali's Main Wapar Aaunga of Rs 65.15 crores and Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai's Rs 61.78 crores.
