Rajasthan Sanitation Worker Recruitment: The Rajasthan government has issued a notification for the direct recruitment of sanitation workers (on a contractual basis). According to the notification, a total of 24,752 posts are to be filled across Urban Local Bodies in the state. These positions are available under the 'Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules, 2022' and related provisions. Eligible candidates can apply online. The application process begins on August 15, 2026, and continues until September 28, 2026. Applicants may apply for only one of the 183 urban local bodies.

**Application Process**
Visit the official website of the Rajasthan Local Self Government Department: lsg.rajasthan.gov.in.
Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) on the SSO/online portal.
Log in using the required credentials.
Open and fill out the recruitment form.
Select the category under which you are applying.
Upload the required photograph and signature.
Submit the form.
Download and keep a printout of the application form.

Candidates must pay the One-Time Registration (OTR) fee on the SSO portal while applying. The fee is ₹600 for General/Unreserved category candidates, and ₹400 for Reserved category candidates and Persons with Disabilities (PwD). Applicants must be between 21 and 40 years of age. Age relaxation will be granted based on category as per government rules.

**Selection Process**
Candidates will be selected through a lottery system conducted by the urban local bodies. Priority will be given to eligible candidates who possess one year of experience within the specific urban local body. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹7,410. The recruitment process for 24,752 sanitation workers across 183 urban local bodies in Rajasthan has commenced.
