Now in this case, Supreme Court lawyer Shubh Sharma has filed a complaint against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in Delhi's Indraprastha Estate police station. Earlier, in Mangaluru, Karnataka also, local BJP leaders had filed a complaint against Sonia Gandhi in the case of alleged insult to Vande Mataram.

In the complaint given in the Delhi police station, it has been said that during Vande Mataram, Sonia Gandhi made such gestures, which indicate that she is objecting to the continuation of the national anthem. The complaint also mentions a video of Rahul Gandhi. In which Rahul Gandhi reportedly says that we are not singing Vande Mataram. The complaining lawyer has demanded to register a case against Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi by citing the provisions to deliberately stopping the singing of the national anthem or disrupting the program.

Delhi Police has said that the complaint lodged at IP Estate police station is being investigated.
