In the Test being played between India and Sri Lanka in Galle, Shubman Gill has taken such a catch which has shocked the world cricket. The Indian captain jumped like a leopard on the extra cover and caught Kamindu Mendis before the ball touched the ground, ending the innings. Gill, standing at extra cover, jumped to his left and caught the ball just inches above the ground. While taking the catch, Gill's body became almost parallel to the ground but he did not let the ball escape his hand.
