Dhoot Transmission shares: Dhoot Transmission’s IPO listing has been stellar despite a dip in early trade today in the stock market. The company’s share was listed on the NSE at ₹1,200, a premium of 37.77 per cent over the IPO issue price. While the stock was listed on BSE at a price of ₹1,193.80.
The company’s IPO price band was fixed at ₹871 per share. In this way, after listing, the investors have got a good benefit in the beginning.
An investment of ₹14,807 was required for one lot
One lot of 17 shares was fixed in Dhoot Transmission’s IPO. That means retail investors had to invest a minimum of ₹14,807 to invest in the IPO.
The IPO was opened on August 10
The company’s IPO opened to investors on August 10 and retail investors had a subscription opportunity till August 12. The total size of the IPO was ₹ 3,066.89 crore.
Fresh shares worth ₹1.61 crore were issued in the IPO, while the company’s existing investors raised ₹1,666.89 crore through the offer for sale. The company raised ₹918.27 crore from anchor investors.
The IPO received an overwhelming response
The IPO was subscribed a total of 75 times during the three days of subscription. Retail category was oversubscribed by 8.32 times, QIB category by 209 times and NII category by 53.13 times.
Where will the money from IPO be used?
The company will use the ₹464.80 crore raised from the fresh issue to repay existing debt. While ₹301 crore will be used for its subsidiary.
Besides this, ₹150 crore will be used to set up new manufacturing plants in Haryana and Tamil Nadu. ₹ 410.41 crore has been earmarked for general corporate purposes.
Financial condition of the company
Looking at the financial position of Dhoot Transmission, the total revenue of the company in FY 2024 was ₹ 2,799.32 crore and the net profit was ₹ 298.75 crore.
In FY 2026, the company’s revenue rose to ₹ 4,563.70 crore, while net profit stood at ₹ 296.84 crore. Investors will keep an eye on the company’s financial performance.
