Skoda will officially launch the Slavia facelift sedan in the market tomorrow. We have come across multiple videos and images of the test mule from different parts of the country. Now, just before the official launch, we have come across a set of images that look like the official brochure of the upcoming Slavia sedan.
It looks like the Slavia facelift sedan’s brochure was leaked before the official launch. In the leaked document, we get to see the facelifted version of the Slavia. From the image, we get to see the front of the Slavia facelift clearly. The front grille has grown in size, and we can clearly see dotted LED DRLs integrated within the grille too.
The headlamps have also been tweaked slightly, with dotted LED DRLs and projector LED headlamps. The front bumper design on the Slavia has also been changed, and we see a chrome or silver garnish that runs across the width and meets the new LED fog lamps. The housing around the fog lamps is finished in a triangular shape, and we also have the lower air dam.
As we move to the side, you would notice the new alloy wheels and a garnish on the fender. The sedan looks the same from the side, and on the roof, we also have an electric sunroof and brushed aluminium trims around the windows. At the rear, the tail lamp design looks more or less the same, but Skoda has now added LED elements to it. It gets LED tail lamps and sequential turn indicators.
On the inside, the dashboard design is likely to remain the same. Skoda will be offering a large 10.24-inch fully digital instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation. The lower variant will get an analogue driver display, while the mid-spec versions will get an 8-inch display.
The touchscreen infotainment system in the Slavia sedan will also get an update. The lower-spec variants will get a 7-inch touchscreen unit, while the mid- and higher variants will get 10-inch units. Apart from this, we expect Skoda to offer features like seat ventilation, automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, a 360-degree camera, a multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, and so on. It also comes with six airbags and 25 other safety features as standard.
As this is a brochure, we get a glimpse of the variants and features that the sedan will get. The Slavia facelift will be offered in Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo variants. Monte Carlo variant will have Red accents and beige or tan coloured interiors and special badges which would differentitate it from the regular variants.
The sedan will be offered with 15- and 16-inch wheels, depending on the variant you choose. Skoda will also be introducing two new shades with the Slavia facelift. One is Arctic Silver, and the other is Cappuccino Beige. Apart from this, Skoda will offer the sedan in eight more colours, namely Shimla Green, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Steel Grey, Lava Blue, Cherry Red, and Deep Black. The Monte Carlo variant will be available in dual-tone shades, while the rest will only be offered in monotone shades.
Coming to the engine, Skoda is offering the same 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI engine options with the Slavia. The 1.0-litre engine comes with the new 8-speed automatic transmission and a 6-speed manual gearbox. This engine is available across all variants, with the automatic being offered from the Classic+ trim.
The next is the 1.5-litre TSI engine, which is offered with a 7-speed DSG transmission only. This engine is only available with the Prestige and Monte Carlo variants.
