NTA intensified action to improve the examination system

Delhi: National Testing Agency i.e. NTA has intensified action to improve the examination system. The Education Ministry has been informed that NTA has removed more than 50 employees. Along with this, the process to recruit professionals on many key posts has also been started. Let us tell you that this news has come out at a time when NTA has issued an order to conduct the examination again after finding many mistakes in the question paper of 3 subjects of UGC-NET exam.

What did the Education Ministry tell?
The Ministry of Education of the Government of India has informed in a post on social media platform “The Minister was briefed on the recent developments, especially the steps taken so far by NTA with regard to reforming the entire system,” the Education Ministry said. He has been informed that more than 50 employees have been removed from NTA.”

Advertisement issued for 10 new professional posts
According to the information given by the Ministry of Education, advertisement has been issued for 10 new professional posts including Chief Technology Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), General Manager (Exam Security) and General Manager (R&D and Psychometrics) and their appointment process is going on. According to the Education Ministry, subject specialists from the private sector are also being included for cyber security, psychometrics, question paper preparation and other specialist areas. Let us tell you that earlier NTA had issued advertisement for the appointments of 4 new General Managers and 16 Young Professionals.

Instructions to strictly follow the examination protocol
According to the information, Union Education Minister Prahlad Joshi has instructed the officials in the meeting to strictly follow the existing examination protocol. He has directed to implement on a war footing comprehensive changes in the clandestine operations (ConOps) structure, separate rooms, air-gapped systems and equipment storage processes. Along with this, NTA has also been directed to thoroughly audit all the examination processes and submit a report on corrective steps.
