National News: Amid major changes in the national organization of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the most important decision regarding the IT cell has come up. Deepak Mhaske has been replaced by Amit Malviya, who has been holding the responsibility as the national coordinator of the BJP’s IT cell for almost 11 years. The change has been made with the announcement of new BJP national president Nitin Nabin’s team.
Amit Malviya was working as the head of IT cell of BJP since 2015. His name has long been prominent in the BJP’s political strategy on social media and digital platforms. Now the party has decided to hand over the digital team to a new face.
Who is Deepak Mhaske?
Deepak Mhaske is a BJP leader from Chhattisgarh. He has also held the responsibility as National Spokesperson of BJP earlier. He has long been active in various activities of the organization, media and party. Deepak Mhaske was also given the responsibility as the Chairman of Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation (CGMSC) in recent years. Given his experience in the organization and media sector, he has now been given a key role in BJP’s digital and IT infrastructure.
Preity Gandhi also got a new responsibility
In the new team, Preity Gandhi has been given the responsibility as co-coordinator of the IT cell. That means, Deepak Mhaske along with Preity Gandhi will also play an important role in BJP’s social media and digital strategy in the future.
