BWF World C’ships Day 2: Six Indian matches including Lakshya, Unnati in action

The second day of the BWF World Championships 2026 in New Delhi promises more action, with six Indian matches lined up.
Lakshya Sen, Unnati Hooda, women's doubles pairs Treesa Jolly/Gayatri Gopichand and Kavipriya Selvam/Simran Singhi, along with mixed doubles pairs Rohan Kapoor/Ruthvika Gadde and Ashith Surya/Amrutha Pramuthesh, will be among the Indians in action.
Hosts India had a blockbuster start, with Indian shuttlers winning all five of their matches on the opening day. Ayush Shetty’s stunning win over world No. 1 and top seed Shi Yu Qi in a thrilling three-game contest was the highlight of the day.
