Harry Kane has returned from his break and is now prepared to start discussions with Bayern Munich over extending his contract beyond 2027.
The 33-year-old star forward confirmed on Monday that talks between his representatives and the club are expected to get under way soon.
“I only have one year left on my contract, so now is the time to talk about it,” Kane said on Monday, according to AZ.
“We’ll talk about it next week or the week after. Both sides are very relaxed,” he added.
Reports indicate that both Bayern and Kane are open to agreeing an extension, with the only possible point to resolve appearing to be whether the fresh deal should run until 2029 or 2030.
