200 year old building collapses in Kolkata; One woman died, 19 people trapped in the debris, relief operation continues

Kolkata, 18 August. After heavy rain overnight in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, a part of a 200-year-old building suddenly collapsed in the early hours of Tuesday. The accident took place on Brajadulal Street in Shimla-Baden Street area of North Kolkata. A woman died in the incident, while several people were trapped under the debris. (…)
