Students protested for 25 days in Jharkhand demanding accountability and investigation into irregularities in JPSC-JSSC examinations. The result was that the Hemant Soren government had to bow down and the biggest demand of the students was accepted.
Jharkhand government announced the cancellation of JSSC CGL exam. However, due to this decision, the government is now forced to stand at a crossroads, because now the candidates who have been working for a year after passing the exam have become angry and are protesting.
Candidates who have passed JSSC CGL say that due to corruption of some people, why is the government playing with their future by canceling everyone's exam? He says that he is ready for investigation in every way, but canceling the exam is not the right decision.
Actually, the candidates who passed the JSSC CGL exam are protesting at Project Bhawan against the state government's decision to cancel the exam. A protestor said, “We are ready for every kind of investigation. You investigate. Take action on what is wrong but don't do such injustice to us for the sake of some people. I am ready for an investigation. Whatever you say, I have brought all my documents. You do a CBI investigation, but don't do injustice to us by canceling the exam, we will die.”
Another protestor protesting against the government's decision to cancel the examination says that when we had participated through a fair process, then why is such a step being taken? We say that you should get the investigation done. Whatever irregularities will be found in the investigation, please remove them, we agree with you. We are supporting you.
