White clothes look very beautiful and clean, but they are very difficult to maintain. In fact, if clothes, sheets, bedsheets, curtains or blankets are white, then the stains on them become visible immediately, which makes them look increasingly unsightly. Especially, tea-coffee stains or colors do not come out easily when washed with other colored clothes. If once a stain gets on a white cloth, it does not come out even after a lot of efforts and it remains lying in some corner of the cupboard. In such a situation, famous content creator Poonam Devnani has shared a video and shown easy ways to remove stubborn stains from white clothes and bring back their shine.

How to remove stubborn stains from white clothes?

Boil five liters of water in a big pot. When the water boils, add some detergent and caustic soda in it. Now, put white clothes in that water and keep it for one to one and a half hours. Due to caustic soda, even the most stubborn colors and stains on white clothes can be easily removed. After the stipulated time, wash the white cloth with normal water and then dry it.

Take these precautions while adding caustic soda

Do not touch the caustic soda solution with your hands. Always use rubber gloves when preparing the solution or removing clothing. Actually, caustic soda is a chemical, so while using it, it is important to take special precautions to protect the skin and clothes.

Keep these things in mind also

    • Never wash white clothes with colored clothes like red, blue, green and yellow or with black clothes, because there is a high risk of color fading.
    • To remove stains, use caustic soda only on white clothes.
    • While washing white clothes, always wash them separately from cotton clothes. Because the color of cotton clothes fades very fast. Even when drying, dry them separately.
    • Always use lukewarm or hot water for white cotton clothes. It removes stains, spots and dirt easily.
    • Also dry white clothes in mild sunlight. Drying clothes in too strong or direct sunlight can cause yellowing of clothes.
