Delhi Lakshmi Yojana 2026: Delhi Government has launched 'Delhi Lakshmi Yojana' with the aim of making women economically empowered and self-reliant. Under this scheme, direct financial assistance of ₹ 2,500 (₹ 30,000 annually) is being provided to economically weaker eligible women of the capital every month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Delhi Lakshmi Yojana 2026: Main features of the scheme

Monthly Assistance Amount: ₹2,500 per month

Annual Profit: ₹30,000 per year

Mode of Payment: डीबीटी (Aadhaar Linked Bank Account)

Department: Women and Child Development Department (WCD), Government of Delhi

Goal: To benefit more than 17 lakh eligible women of Delhi.

Main Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: The age of the woman should be between 21 to 60 years.

Head of the family: The benefit of the scheme will be given to the eldest eligible woman of the family (only 1 woman per family).

Residency condition: The applicant or his/her family must have resided in Delhi for a minimum of 10 years.

Name in voter list: It is mandatory for the woman to be enrolled in the Voter List of Delhi.

Family Income Limit: The total annual income of the family should not exceed ₹2,50,000 (Rs 2.5 lakh).

Who cannot apply? (Exclusion Criteria)

• Women doing government jobs (regular or contractual) or their family members.
• Families paying Income Tax or GST.
• Women already availing the benefit of any pension scheme (like widow pension, old age pension) from the Central or State Government.
• If there is a four-wheeler (car etc.) in the family.
• Families whose annual electricity consumption is more than 2,400 units.
• Having more than 3 living children.

• 10 years residence certificate (ration card, electricity/gas bill or old voter card)
• Income Certificate
• Copy of Bank Passbook Key (Aadhaar Seeded Bank Account)
• Passport size photo and signature

Visit the official portal: Visit the official online portal of Delhi Lakshmi Yojana.

Register: Complete the new registration with the help of your mobile number and Aadhar card.

Fill the form: Enter your personal information, family income and bank account details in the application form.

Upload Documents: Scan and upload all the required documents.

Submit: After checking all the information, submit the form and save the application number (acknowledgment slip).
