This particular video of the MG Hector Hawk EV spotted during its official TVC shoot has been shared on Instagram by Punekar Nikhil on their page. In this video, we can first note a professional camera vehicle, which appears to be a Toyota Fortuner with a massive camera setup, shown from a distance. Soon after, the video then shows the MG Hector Hawk EV from the front and a bit more up close.

From this angle, we can observe the complete front and side profile design of the MG Hector Hawk EV. We can note that it looks identical to the Wuling Starlight 560 EV, which is currently sold in the international markets. However, in place of the Wuling logo on the front and centre, it boasts the MG logo, which is illuminated like we have seen on the MG Windsor EV.

Additionally, we can note that it gets a gloss black centre grille and also features dotted LED DRLs on either side of the MG logo. As for the headlight design, it looks the same as the Wuling EV SUV. It features a sleek headlight with dual LED DRLs on top and bottom and a projector LED light setup. Moving a bit below, we can note that the front bumper has also been kept the same and gets a simple yet bold design with squared-off edges and black central air dams with square elements.

In the short video, we can also observe that at one point, a black Ford Endeavour passes it from the right side. And it can be seen that the 7-seater MG Hector Hawk EV does not get dwarfed. Its height is almost the same as the Endeavour, but its width seems to be slightly less. As for the design highlights of the side profile, we can note that it boasts a set of large diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The exact size has not been confirmed. However, they appear to be around 18 to 19 inches and have a petal-like design, which reminds us of the wheels that were seen on the Hyundai Alcazar (the wheels on the MG Hector Hawk EV are completely different, however). Moving ahead, the other major notable highlights are that the SUV boasts a dual-tone design with a black roof and also has been given integrated roof rails as well.

There are also chunky claddings on the lower part of the doors and the circular wheel arches of the MG Hector Hawk EV. This particular video does not show the rear end. However, we know that this SUV will boast a set of sleek LED taillights with dual-row internals like the LED headlights of this SUV. It will also boast a roof spoiler, rear wiper, washer and defogger setup. Additionally, it will also boast a chunky rear bumper with parking sensors and a reverse parking camera.

This particular video does not reveal the interior design of the MG Hector Hawk EV. However, we do know that this SUV will boast a large 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

It will also come equipped with a digital driver’s display, wireless charging, automatic climate control, and connected car technology. Other notable highlights will include a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS.

As per the reports, the MG Hector Hawk is expected to come powered by a 69.2 kWh battery pack. This battery will be paired with a front-mounted electric motor. And based on the specifications of the internationally sold model, we know that this SUV could produce around 204 PS and 310 Nm of torque.

The battery pack is also expected to offer a driving range of around 530 km. It will most likely also support DC fast charging, which will help the battery charge from around 30 per cent to 80 per cent in roughly 20 minutes under ideal conditions. However, the final India-spec battery capacity, charging speed, and certified range will be confirmed in the coming days.
