Islamabad. India's Home Minister Amit Shah recently said that major action has been taken against the Pakistan-supported Shehzad Bhatti terrorist organization in the country and more than 200 members of this group have been arrested. Pakistan has been shocked by this reaction of India and now it has pretended to reject India's claim by showing a jackal anger. Pakistan has accused India of trying to divert attention from its domestic security issues.
In a post on social media on Monday, Home Minister Ami Shah said that more than 200 members of ISI-backed terror group 'Shehzad Bhatti Network' were arrested during coordinated operations in 14 states ahead of Independence Day on August 15, foiling the organisation's plan to carry out destructive attacks. He said a huge amount of material was recovered from the group, funded by Pakistani intelligence agency, including IEDs, grenades with Pakistan Ordnance Factory marking, pistols, live cartridges and CCTV cameras used for espionage.

Responding to media queries on Shah's statement, Pakistani Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi rejected the comments in a statement issued late on Monday night. He accused India of using claims to Pakistan to divert attention from its domestic security issues.

SBN has also been paying local people to install CCTV cameras for conducting recce of police, defense and religious places and for spying. The National Investigation Agency is probing several cases linked to Bhatti, including the grenade attack on the residence of social media influencer Roger Sandhu in Punjab in March 2025 and the blast at Mahila Police Station in Haryana the same year.
