People often eat tea and pakodas during the rainy season. It becomes difficult to go out, hence physical activities reduce. You can do some easy yoga asanas daily to stay fit and healthy during monsoon.
Practicing *Suryanamaskar* (Sun Salutation) daily is very beneficial. It takes very little time and stretches the entire body, as it involves 12 different yoga asanas performed in a rhythmic sequence. Additionally, making it a regular habit helps burn fat.
You can practice *Setubandhasana* (Bridge Pose) for some time every morning. It improves digestion and makes the spine flexible and strong, helping you avoid pain and muscle stiffness. It also gives beneficial stretch to the abdominal muscles.
For *Bhujangasana* (Cobra Pose), lie down on your stomach, lift your head and chest up using your palms and hold this position for 20 to 30 seconds. It relieves back and shoulder pain, helps reduce belly fat and improves digestion.
You can also practice *Utkatasana* (Chair Pose) for a few minutes every morning; In this, one has to keep one's body in a sitting position like a chair. It helps burn excess fat, improves blood circulation and strengthens ankles, knees, spine, thighs and hips.
In *Kumbhakasana* (Plank Pose), your entire body has to be kept in a straight line, in which support is taken from the toes of the hands and feet. It strengthens core muscles and improves balance, making it very effective for fat loss.
