PIL on lack of toilets for girls in govt schools to be heard by another bench: SC – Read

The Supreme Court on Monday directed that a PIL highlighting the alleged lack of functional sanitation facilities for girls in government schools be placed before a bench that had earlier issued a landmark judgment recognising menstrual health as a component of the fundamental right to life and education.
A bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana took note of the submissions in the plea filed by Reepak Kansal against the Centre and other authorities, including various states and Union territories (UTs).
