Aam Aadmi Party leader Satyendra Jain has been arrested once again. 6 people including Satyendra Jain have been arrested by ACB in connection with the Jal Board scam. Allegedly, the STP tender process was heavily manipulated and he has been arrested due to this.
Crores of bribe exposed in water board tender case
As many as 6 people have been arrested by ACB in connection with the Jal Board tender scam. In addition to former minister Satyendra Jain, East Delhi Jal Board CEO Udit Prakash Rai is also included. The arrest has been made for alleged manipulation of rules and technical conditions in the STP tender. The investigation revealed the benefit to a technology provider. 1.52 crore was transferred to accounts belonging to Udit Prakash Rai, ACB said.
3 private traders were also arrested
Others arrested include former counsel Ankit Srivastava and 3 private businessmen. According to the new allegation, the terms of the tender were changed to benefit a limited number of people. Investigations have uncovered alleged transactions for these benefits. All these were arrested on August 18 after interrogation. It has also been alleged that the amount of bribe was paid in the matter of assets.
