BJP MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut has made a scathing attack on the Congress leadership. Kangana has been continuously targeting the Congress after the controversy over the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ in the presence of Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi at a Congress program on August 15.
Kangana Ranaut: Amid the controversy over the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ in a Congress program, BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has launched a scathing attack on the party. Taking aim at the Congress leaders, he said that the kind of controversy that has arisen over ‘Vande Mataram’ is unfortunate. During this, Kangana also compared Congress with Pakistan.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and actress Kangana Ranaut is once again in the news for her political statements. Kangana, MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, has made sharp remarks on Congress regarding the ‘Vande Mataram’ controversy. The controversy came to light during a Congress program on August 15, where political rhetoric broke out over the singing of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’ in the presence of senior party leaders.
Kangana Ranaut targeted Congress and said that ‘Vande Mataram’ is linked to the national consciousness and sentiments of India. According to him, creating any kind of controversy regarding this song is like giving political color to an issue to the sentiments of the country.
‘Even Pakistan doesn’t suffer that much’
Attacking the Congress leaders, Kangana said that being an artist, she can understand how deep an impact a poem or song can have on the sentiments of the country and society. He alleged that the Congress leaders did not shy away from expressing their displeasure even in front of the camera. The BJP MP took a sharp jibe at the Congress by mentioning Pakistan in his statement. He said that he was surprised by the reaction to ‘Vande Mataram’ and claimed that even in Pakistan, there is no such uneasiness regarding this song.
However, the political controversy may increase further if Congress reacts to Kangana’s statement. ‘Vande Mataram’ has long been involved in major issues to Indian politics and national identity.
Kangana said- ‘From opposing BJP to opposing the country’
Kangana Ranaut also questioned the political ideology of Congress in her statement. He alleged that while opposing the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Congress is now allegedly moving towards an anti-national stance. The BJP MP also said that the alleged reaction of senior Congress leaders was damaging the party’s image. He claimed that Congress leaders have become the subject of discussion and criticism across the country due to their attitude.
Kangana reached Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai
Kangana Ranaut made these comments after visiting the famous Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai. After reaching Mumbai on Tuesday morning, he offered prayers in the temple. During this, he described Siddhivinayak Temple as an important place to faith and security for the people of Mumbai. Kangana said that whenever she gets a chance, she tries to visit Siddhivinayak temple. After visiting the temple, he also expressed his views on current political and social issues.
