Delhi Police Transfer List: There has been a major reshuffle in Delhi Police. 43 IPS-DANIPS officers have been transferred. This is the first major reshuffle after Anurag Kumar took over as Police Commissioner. According to the order issued by Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the charge of the traffic division has been handed over to 1996 batch IPS officer and Special Commissioner (CP) Ajay Chaudhary. Manish Aggarwal, who till now was handling the traffic division, has been given the responsibility of the security unit.
According to the order, Jatin Narwal will take charge as Joint CP, Special Branch, Milind Mahadev will head Dumbre Eastern Range and 2007 batch officer Nupur Prasad will be Joint CP, New Delhi Range. Whereas 1994 batch IPS officer and Special CP Garima Bhatnagar has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of Delhi Police Housing Corporation Limited (DPHCL) along with Economic Offenses Wing (EOW).
Vivek Kishore, a 1999 batch officer who came from Arunachal Pradesh on transfer, has been appointed Special CP SPUWAC and Licensing. Sindhu Pillai, a 2001 batch officer transferred from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, has been given the additional charge of 'Perception Management and Media Cell' along with vigilance. Joint CP Vinoo Bansal, attached to Police Headquarters, Rashtrapati Bhavan, has been posted in SPUWAC-SPUNER. Joint CP (HQ) Suman Goyal will head the Western Range, while Rajneesh Gupta has been transferred from Joint CP (IFSO) to the post of Joint CP Transport Range.

Pratiksha Godara will be Additional CP (Traffic Headquarters). Sachin Singhal, additional DCP, West Delhi, and Shweta Singh Chauhan, from the Delhi government's anti-corruption wing, will serve as DCP (traffic). 2010 batch officers Sanjay Bhatia, Dinesh Kumar Gupta and Varsha Sharma have been appointed as Additional CP IFSO, Additional CP DPHCL and Additional CP EOW respectively.

According to the order, Eastern Range Joint CP Ajit Singla is scheduled to retire on August 31. Monica Bhardwaj, a 2009 batch officer and currently Additional CP (IFSO), has been appointed to the post of Additional CP (Crime). Aye Koan, transferred from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, will be the additional CP (Headquarters). While Jatin Narwal will take over as Joint CP, Special Branch, Milind Mahadev will head Dumbre Eastern Range and 2007 batch officer Nupur Prasad will be Joint CP, New Delhi Range.
