Ram Gopal Varma had created quite a stir in 2015 by mentioning his life-long obsession with late actress Sridevi in his book ‘Guns and Thighs: The Story of My Life’. It is a different matter that in a recent conversation, RGV said that he does not think about the dead people at all and instead he is focusing on his next film ‘Police Company’, in which Harshvardhan Rane is in the lead role.

RGV Dheeraj U. A chapter has been written on Sridevi in Sridevi’s biography ‘The Empress’ written by Kumar. While talking to ‘Variety India’, the director described his chapter as the best. This book was announced by Priyanka Chopra on Sridevi’s birth anniversary on 13 August.
During the conversation, when RGV was asked how he celebrated the birth anniversary of his favorite star and whether he remembered her after watching her films, he said, no. Also said that he does not think about dead people at all. Once they’re gone, they’re out of my life.
RGV recalls his first meeting with Sridevi
RGV said that he does not think about the dead people, yet he shared his memories of meeting Sridevi for the first time at her house in Chennai. He said- ‘I went to his house in Chennai to sign him. I was sitting in the living room with her mother, while Sridevi was packing to catch the flight and was coming in and out of the room every now and then. Whenever she came into the room, it felt as if a breath of fresh, invigorating air had come. I want him to come to earth once again. Just once, so that the world could know who she really was.
