New Delhi. The tension between Iran and the United Arab Emirates appears to be reaching a critical point once again. After UAE accused Iran of firing two ballistic missiles, Tehran has rejected these claims outright. Iran's Foreign Ministry has described the allegations as baseless and said that making such serious allegations without concrete evidence can further increase regional tension. Iran has also indicated that the possibility of a false flag operation behind the missile incident cannot be ruled out.

According to the UAE Defense Ministry, two ballistic missiles were fired from Iran. Both the missiles fell into the sea. One of these fell in the UAE's territorial waters while the other fell outside it. The UAE claims that the targets of the missiles could have been maritime traffic. However, no information has been revealed about any person getting injured or any kind of loss in this incident. The UAE administration has appealed to people not to rely on rumors and misinformation and to rely only on official sources for security- information.

After the missile incident, the UAE Home Ministry also sent a security alert on people's mobile phones. After initial warning of danger, the administration declared the situation safe and appealed to people to resume normal activities. On the other hand, Iran took a tough stance on UAE's allegations and said that solid and reliable evidence should be presented before reaching any conclusion. Tehran warned that the allegations without proof could lead to a major conflict in the region.

Amidst this entire incident, UAE has also taken a big decision regarding its relations with Iran. According to Afra Al Hameli, Director of Communications of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all trade commercial and financial transactions with Iran have been suspended until further orders, considering the regional circumstances. This decision is likely to further impact the already tense relations between the two countries.
