Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi Water Minister Satyendar Jain has been arrested by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB). Even before this, this action has been taken against Satyendar Jain, who had been in jail for about 18 months, this time on the serious charge of manipulating the tender process in Delhi Jal Board (DJB).
National Convener of Aam Aadmi Party and former Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal has made a big and sensational claim regarding this arrest of Satyendar Jain. Arvind Kejriwal says that ACB had no prior plan to arrest Satyendra Jain, rather he was arrested on the direct request of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

In another one of his posts, Arvind Kejriwal directly attacked Union Home Minister Amit Shah and asked him questions. He asked, “Amit Shah ji should tell the country why he put pressure on the investigating agency and got Satyendar Jain arrested?”
'BJP played tricks to win the elections'- Sanjay Singh
On the arrest of Satyendra Jain, Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh also launched a scathing attack on BJP. He said, “Satyendra Jain has been arrested because BJP wants to completely suppress the Aam Aadmi Party and win the elections by using Sama-Dam-Dand-Bheed. You will remember that when Delhi elections were being held, then Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Education Minister Manish Sisodia, Health Minister Satyendra Jain and myself were also put in jail.”

Sanjay Singh claimed that the reason behind this action is the upcoming elections of Punjab. He said that BJP is losing badly in Punjab and it knows very well that it cannot win the elections there. That's why BJP is taking all this action out of anger and frustration. According to Sanjay Singh, this arrest of Satyendra Jain has been made because he is currently holding the responsibility of Punjab co-in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party.
