Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has expressed a very sharp reaction to the recent statement of yoga guru Baba Ramdev. Along with giving a befitting reply to Baba Ramdev's allegations, Kangana also took a strong dig at the rebuke she received from the Supreme Court in the Patanjali controversy.
BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, while countering Baba Ramdev's statements, said in clear words that Baba does not need to worry about his youth at all, nor should he dream about it. Actually, Baba Ramdev had expressed strong objection to Kangana's 'gutter' statement in front of the media, after which this whole controversy arose.
There was an uproar over the Jantar Mantar movement and the 'gutter' statement.
This whole matter started when Kangana Ranaut had given a controversial statement regarding the young (Gen Ji) students protesting at Jantar Mantar. He mocked the agitating students by calling them 'gutter generation' and remarked that cockroaches live in gutters.
After this statement of Kangana, there was a lot of controversy across the country and many well-known personalities strongly criticized her attitude. However, despite being surrounded from all sides, the BJP MP did not apologize for his statement, but openly defended his 'gutter' word.
Kangana Ranaut gave a befitting reply on social media
Angered by Baba Ramdev's comment, Kangana Ranaut shared a post on her Instagram account and wrote, “Baba ji, don't day dream about my youth or bedroom. One can only guess on the basis of rumor and gossip.”
Kangana further mentioned the rebuke of the Supreme Court and wrote, “At least I have never been reprimanded by the Supreme Court for making false and fraudulent medical claims, which is based on solid facts and not on any guess. So don't teach me about character, my character is much better than yours. There has been no allegation of fraud against me.”
What did Baba Ramdev say on Kangana's statement?
Earlier, Baba Ramdev had strongly condemned Kangana Ranaut's 'gutter' statement and termed her attitude as a sign of a disturbed mind. In his interview to a news channel, when Baba Ramdev was asked a question on Kangana's statement, he had said that if she praises my yoga, will I hide her false statements or allegations?
Attacking Kangana, Baba Ramdev had said, “What are Kangana's qualifications? How was her childhood? How was her youth and what were her earlier exploits? I do not want to talk about such people. Calling the youth and Gen Z of the country like gutters is a sign of a spoiled mind and is very wrong. The top leaders of her party should take cognizance of this.”
