Maiyan Samman Yojana Rejection List: The names of 6.38 lakh ineligible women have been removed from the Chief Minister Maiyan Samman Yojana (JMMSY) run by the Jharkhand government. In fact, the names of over 6.38 lakh ineligible and fake beneficiaries were struck off the list during an intensive physical and data verification drive conducted across the state.

If you are a permanent resident of Jharkhand and eligible for the financial assistance provided under this scheme, you should immediately check your name and current application status online. If the removal of these 6.38 lakh ineligible names has caused you concern and you wish to verify whether your name remains on the list, please follow the steps below.

How to check your name in the beneficiary list online:
Visit the official government portal for the Chief Minister Maiyan Samman Yojana. Click on the 'Application Status' or 'View Maiyan Samman Status' option on the homepage. Enter your application number, registered identification number, or mobile number accurately. Enter the security code (OTP) received on your registered mobile number and submit. If the screen displays 'Approved' or 'Active', your name is secure.

Reasons for the removal of names:
The Jharkhand government is conducting a rigorous verification of the data. Applications are being cancelled or blocked if any of the following six types of discrepancies are found:

This scheme is primarily intended for women aged 18 to 50 years. Names are being removed from the list for the following reasons: applicants exceeding the age of 50; failure to correctly link identity details with the bank account or failure to activate Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT); failure by beneficiaries to complete the biometric or digital eKYC process on time; the woman or a family member being an income tax payer or a government employee; women already availing benefits from another state government social security pension scheme (such as widow or old-age pension); and instances of duplicate applications, fraudulent documents, or the death of the beneficiary.

What to do if your name is removed?
If you believe you are fully eligible for the scheme but your name has been erroneously removed from the list, do not panic. Visit your nearest Pragya Kendra, or contact the Circle Officer or Child Development Project Officer at the Block Office, carrying all your original documents—such as your identity card, bank passbook, and income and residence certificates. Have your documents physically verified there and get your application rectified. Following this, you will start receiving the financial assistance.
